Abstract
Meigs, syndrome consists of a fibrome, or fibroma-Iike benign tumor, associated with fluid in both abdomen and chest. The ascites and hydrothorax must disappear and not recur following removal of the ovarian tumor.
In 1937, Meigs, and Cass reported 7 patients with fibromas of the ovary, whose ascites and hydrothorax were cured by removal of the fibroma.
The symptoms in the Meigs syndrome are relatively typical and the diagnosis was made easily.
We present a case of Meigs¢¥ Syndrome with brief review of literatures.
